We have a handful of Simply Ravishing vinyl editions by the Red Falcon Projects, courtesy of Dilated Time Records. You may know them from our 2013 digital reissue of RPF’s long lost cassette Microtonal Acid Dub. On Simply Ravishing we find a slightly glossier sound that is more dance-floor friendly than their previous acid induced atmospheric excursions. Crisp drum machines, airy synth pads, and sexy bass lines drive their (retro) futuristic saw-toothed melodies. A highly entertaining listen that should appeal to fans of Jeremiah R., CN, Automatic Tasty and early Warp Records releases.
