Davis Hooker – Phoning It In Cassette Reissue.

We just made a fresh batch of Davis Hooker’s “Phoning It In” cassette! This is the second edition of this cassette and it will be limited to 50 copies on white cassettes with black labels, housed in our standard audiobook packaging. Check it out if you missed out on the first run!

Phoning It In is a very moving live interpretation of Davis Hooker I performed via telephone call. Beautiful hand-picked guitars lead Davis’s haunting picturesque lyrics down a dark and hazy road. Seemingly autobiographical, Davis’ poetry is both thought provoking and heart-wrenchingly honest. Don’t miss it!

Brian Grainger – Invisible Frequencies From The Underground Chrome Monolith – LTD Cassette Release.

WR is happy to announce a new limited edition drone cassette by Brian Grainger titled “Invisible Frequencies From The Underground Chrome Monolith“. This cassette features two massive long form drone pieces improvised entirely on Synthrotek gear (and a mixer). Invisible Frequencies is not a typical Brian Grainger release, rather, it is an excercise in self restraint and subtle improvisation. These two 20 minute plus tracks play out like monochromatic noise fields intercepted by some obscure piece of government equipment. A release for the Connoisseur!

Coppice Halifax – Opal (Music Video)

Hey everyone,
check out this uber spacey music video for Coppice Halifax‘s track Opal from the new Coppice Halifax CD Pacific Opal Hex.
